Hooray for finally making it to December! Our final meeting of the semester will be held on Tuesday 11th, 2:30 PM in Ms. Powell's room. Please don't forget to bring (for points):
1. Book: wrapped, in good condition, and age appropriate
2. Board Games: make sure these are literary/word related
3. Food
Don't forget you can write an essay (prompt: http://www.nehs.us/nehs/student_awards/intellectual_freedom/index.shtml) to Ms. Powell to make up missing points. If you write it in time, you may even enter it into the National-Level English Honor Society competition (until Dec. 17).
Kudos to all the members that participated in NaNoWriMo, especially if you were able to reach 50,000 words. Don't forget to let one of the officers know how many words you finished with, so that we can give you points for them. :)
